I already read The Nakano Thrift Shop twice. Firstly in Turkish language, second English language. Each language had its own charm. Nevertheless, I preferred the English version. This book wasn't my cup of tea. I chose because of the name of the book and it was said healing novel. So I expected different story. In conclusion, that was a story unlike any I've read before.
This book reminded me of The Hyunamdong Bookstore because of their premise. Both of main characters had worries like social anxiety, burnout etc. In my opinion most beautiful detail was how Jungmin found the Pottery studio by luck. Like our daily life, luck often comes without warning. Jungmin decided to challenge herself and learned many valuable lessons at the studio. I’d give it an 8.5 or 9, but I decided to give it a 10/10 because ...
