The Sinclair family is a rich and well-established family. They have their own island. On this island, namely Beech Island, grandfather and grandmother's children and grandchildren come for holiday every summer. These grandchildren, Cadence, Mirren and Johnny, make up the 'liars' group. Ed's nephew Gat, who came later and was Johnny's mother's lover, also joins this group of 'liars'. We witness the Liars' adventures and conversations on the island and Cadence's love life. As the book progresses, some things begin to be revealed. The ending of the book was also shocking and unexpected. The book was a very easy to read and fluent book. At first I kept confusing the names, but our author took precautions for this and listed who is whose child and who is staying where at the beginning of the book. I really didn't expect the end of the book that way.
