The story is governed by emotions rather than reason. The key idea is Hamlet's shifting sanity that fluctuates throughout the play as a performance and real madness. There is a systematic logic behind Hamlet's disguise. The other main theme that glorifies the game is a perfect act of revenge accompanied by delay and doubt. These themes, along with the dramatic vehicles and characters involved in the plot, add to the textual integrity of the play.
