We share a similar taste in books and every book Hülya recommended was great! She has always been a hard person to get along but never dropped out of a book before. But, what is more shocking that she wants her biggest writer-enemy Marka to write her new book as a ghostwriter. Helena is going to die because of cancer but before she goes, she is determined to tell her heart-breaking story and confess her crimes. When she expects Marka, a blonde sexy Barbie; someone who isn’t remotely similar to Marka shows up in her house. 🖋Helena isn’t a character you can easily love or feel connected. She is rude, asocial, arrogant. Even before the terrible incident, she was a difficult woman. While reading her story, you begin to like her but with baby steps. Her interaction with Mark in her last months, the writing process, and the deeply tragic truth about her past make you finally like her. I couldn’t help myself from crying at the end, especially reading her letters. Alessandra Torre managed to write a different kind of story and make you feel the character’s feelings. Bu kitabını diğeriyle kıyaslamak mümkün değil, çok farklı bir tür. Kanser yüzünden ölmek üzere olan ünlü yazar Helena’nın ölmeden önce itiraflarını yazmak istemesiyle başlayan kitap, kendisi yerine ‘hayalet yazar’ olarak en büyük yazar düşmanından kitabını yazmasını istemesiyle devam ediyor. Ama basında sarışın, modellere benzeyen seksi vücuduyla boy gösteren Marka yerine eve gelen kişi çok şaşırtıyor. Ondan sonra, Helena’nın günden güne eriyişini, kitabın yazılış sürecini ve en sonunda yaşadığı trajik ve korkunç olayı okuyoruz. Helena kendini hemen sevdiren bir karakter değil; kabalığı, sert tavırları, bitmek bilmeyen kuralları onu sevmeyi zorlaştırsa da kitabı bitirdiğimde gözümden yine birkaç damla yaş aktı. Kesinlikle bir aşk kitabı değil bu kitap, türünü sorsanız söyleyemem belki ama Türkçeye çevrilirse seveceğinize eminim
