It is indifference that destroys everything that stands for beauty. wrote Franz Kafka. I think it is a privilege to understand Kafka, who is not for everyone but is one of my favorite writers. In this book, which is a biographical text, we clearly see what a naive character he has. By writing, Kafka, in a sense, moves away from the stereotypes that his father tried to fit into throughout his life, and sees writing as a way of escape. At one point in his letter, he writes that he is aware of his disgust towards his father's writings and says that his reason for writing was "to lean on your shoulder and write down what I couldn't express." In addition to being frail and weak in body structure, he is also a very weak and emotional person in character. He is aware of this, and in his letter he describes his personality as a child who is anxious, lacks self-confidence, and feels intense feelings of guilt. He constantly questions his childhood and puts pressure on himself because of his father's dissatisfaction. As a result of this situation, he writes that the source of his feeling of nothingness is a legacy from his father. In some of his childhood memories, Kafka included experiences that he could not make sense of and tried to forget throughout his life. From these lines, we see how childhood leaves deep scars on people and that the effects of these scars can last a lifetime. Kafka explained, line by line, with all sincerity, how his self-confidence was decreasing day by day. Unfortunately, this letter never reached its owner... Hermann Kafka is a vivid example of the question "how not to raise a child". Every parent should definitely read it.
