I loved in this book how the Steinbeck analyses the inner sides of the characters and i mostly focused on them. Besides, the "songs" were giving us foreshadows and playing the time when something was going to happen or there was some other signs as "sicorpion", however the Pearl was the actual sign itself. They were for predicting i guess. Also, i noticed that the dialogues between characters were limited, yet enough to understand, you could understand what happened to them without needing much words ,because it is beyond of them.
