Persepolis 2 is such a powerful follow-up to the first book. As soon as I finished the first one, I couldn’t wait to dive into this one—I was so curious about what happened next! Living abroad myself, I really connected with the struggles and found so many similarities. The blend of history and humanity feels so real and relatable. After finishing the book, I went back and watched the movie again, but honestly, the book has so much more detail. If you liked the movie, you’ll love the books—they’re definitely worth reading.
