Emilia was also the best friend of Carter's sister's, Kate. However, Kate was a really jealous friend. I didn’t like her because she didn't want Emilia and Carter to be lovers. Btw, I didn't like Carter at all because he chose the easiest way instead of convincing his sister. Emilia, on the other hand, could have tried to convince Kate about the relationship. They both didn't try their best. Maybe this is the first book of the trilogy, and in the other books, I hope they will fight for their love.
I know they are teenagers. That’s why they didn't think rational, but their behaviors made me feel uncomfortable most of the time. I'll continue reading the trilogy because this book didn't end in HEA. I'm really curious about the other 2 books.
