criticisms of neo-liberalism IISiyaset
Neo-liberalism is now open to much more general and severe criticism in the wake of the Great Recession. It is clear that neo-liberalism played a major role in spawning that recession, especially in its opposition to the regulation of financial transactions and the economy in general. The lack of restraint allowed the economy to expand without limits and then to collapse in disastrous fashion.

These criticism is look like Karl Polanyi's critisim. I had read The Great Transformation book and he was writing in the book the similar things to that you wrote that.
This is a slightly different situation from your comment at there but your prediction is close. This part which i wrote from Ritzer, and Ritzer usually quotes at that part from Polanyi, and not just from Polanyi too, he quotes other thinkers who studies in this field such as Nerdt, Negri, Harvey, Sklair and Chomsky.. :)
