Probably most of you have seen a short video. Some basketball players are passing balls to one another. And you are asked to count the number of the passes. At the end of the experiment they ask whether you have seen the gorilla or not. The book is mainly based on this experiment and tries to explain why sometimes people do not see what is exactly in front of their eyes. Moreover, the book talks about illusion of confidence, illusion of knowledge, illusion of memory and how they mislead us.
