It was a book that started very well. In fact, what I was faced with was a book that focused on the correspondence with students and their analyses. The first event in the book was truly dire, but as a result of the correspondence, I developed a prejudice against the book. The book is based on students' letters and their answers, but there is a situation like this. The author answers and says things to learn from, so far so good, but we cannot see the results in any of them. So what happened as a result of the correspondence? Has the student overcome his problems? etc. Unfortunately, we cannot find an answer to any of the questions, and this has created a lot of questions in my mind about whether the answers given by the author are reliable or not. In fact, Ayşe's letter, which was the first letter, was a complete devastation for me. If you read this, you will understand because it will be spoilery. The author states that he only changed the names of the writers and made spelling corrections himself, but the language of the letters is very similar. Frankly, I couldn't help but think that the corrections were made a little too much. However, I also determined that he changed the letters he sent himself (at least the beginning). This is about students changing their names. He writes the name of that student at the beginning of the paragraphs of the letters he sends to his students. When the names change, the beginnings of the first paragraphs will definitely change, which is a must. Finally, I wish we could have seen the results of the correspondence, it would have been much more successful and strengthened their findings. The only thing for me right now is the sadness in the letters. I feel very sorry for the students and I hope their problems have been solved (I say this because there is no information whether their problems have been solved or not, there is only painful information about Ayşe in the first letter). Although it is very old, I can still consider it somewhat successful. And that is because of the sadness I feel for what the students are going through.
