To be honest, at first I did not want to read this book because I thought it was some kind of teenager books. The aim of reading was improving my English. To my surprise, at the end of book I could not help myself but like the book. I think it was worth to read and here is why. First of all, I saw some similiar feelings of Emily as mine when I was teenager. I have been newly a grown-up so still I have some remnants of puberty. We both have been through some hard situations and have felt that we are not enough. We both did the wrong things to make it right. Secondly, I have learnt lots of advices about mixed families. In the book, Andi marries with Ethan who has two daughters one of them is a real-deal trouble. Being a step-mother and trying to maintain a harsh marriage were diffuculties that Andi had to face. Thirdly, I learnt many new English expressions. And also, some American culture has learnt with the book. To put in a nutshell, I am glad I read this book.
