4/5 Stars (%75/100) A pretty good second volume in my opinion. The biggest event is the Final Selection and here we learn more about the demons, the world itself, demon slayers, and Tanjiro himself. It is very similar to events like Chunin Exams from Naruto, Goodwill Event from Jujutsu Kaisen, and other fighting events from shounen anime. However, that does not mean it was bad because we meet new characters that will become very important in the future like Zenitsu. It is also very interesting that we meet the main antagonist Kibutsuji Muzan so early on in the story. The book ends with a cliffhanger. Overall, I think it was really good compared to other manga I've read, especially shounen manga.
