I really, really liked this book! I honestly had pretty low expectations going into this book and thought it wouldn't compare at all to the greatness of the 1939 movie (which is one of my favorite movies), but I was wrong. It was one of the best children's classics that I've ever read and I even loved how it wasn't that similar to the movie, so it kept me interested. I also had a beautiful hardcover Puffin Classics edition, so that make the experience even better! All in all, I'm so glad that I had to read it for my class! The book was very gripping and flowing. Yes, the book may be a fairy tale, but in my opinion, anyone from 7 to 70 can read it. Because while you are reading the book, you also learn from some things. When you read at the age of 7, you can think of other things, and if you read at the age of 70, you can think of other things. I can say that the book adds something to you. By the way, while reading the adventures of our hero Dorothy, I felt as if I was with them in the book. Will they always have the things they want? How is it going to be ? How will they do? I said stop. One of the things that makes the book so good, I think, is the simplicity of the author's language.

The hunger among many younger people for rules, or at least guidelines, is greater today for good reason. In the West at least, millennials are living through a unique historical situation. They are, I believe, the first generation to have been so thoroughly taught two seemingly contradictory ideas about morality, simultaneously—at their schools,

You may experience some disappointment after Madonna in a Fur Coat, as it is the author's first book. The author writes quite dark in my opinion and I felt that chill in this book as well. I recommend it if you like the dark.

Good Marketing!
It's a product of marketing, it's so hillarious to think your life will change profoundly reading this. Although the tips given in the book sound useful, they are useless in practice. It may be because I listened it as an audio book from Youtube but in my opinion it's wate of time to read such a thick book. Listening it in English can be good to improve your English.

From her How to Suppress Women's Writing "In 1837 Charlotte Bronte wrote the then poet laureate, Robert Southey, asking his opinion of her poetry. Southey answered “that it showed talent” but “advised her to give up thoughts of becoming a poet”: “Literature cannot be the business of a woman’s life and ought not to be. The more she is engaged in her proper duties, the less leisure will she have for it, even as . . . recreation.”" My review; Society have long been used to suppress women writing and setting prohibitions is one the safest way to do it. Russ, with her book, is making the readers aware of the limitations. As you can understand from the quotation above, discouragement is a form of prohibition.
Perhaps you are not trying to whip a crowd into a frenzy; you just want to bring people over to your side. Choose your strategy and words carefully. You might think it is better to reason with people, explain your ideas. But it is hard for an audience to decide whether an argument is reasonable as they listen to you talk. They have to concentrate
