This is the first book I have ever read which is written by Bertrand Russell. Frequently, I have seen his name in various book, and I wanted to met him. Therefore I chose this book, because it is brief. And then when I had finished book, realized that it is magnificent choice.
Firstly, I can easily say that Bertrand Russell is an outspoken. That is why, in the beginning of the book he mentioned his religious belief. After that, he talks about some sorts of difficulties which he was exposed in various field, such as education, because of their religious faith. Hence, he expresses three subjects which are misused by people, in particular by statesman, namely education, propaganda, and economy. He claims that every nation strive to imbue their students or citizens with their historical glories.
In addition to a brief summary, I want to mention about one example which is given by author. When Einstein's theory appeared, it was accepted by scientists, without fighting. However, if his theory had occurred in the sphere of politics or religions, what would happened?
To sum up, I strictly suggest that every people must read it.
