I was all alone in an uninhabited island. After a while. I realized that I didn’t have any clothes to keep me warm and food to eat. I didn’t have a weapon to hunt or protect myself. I only had a knife, a tobacco-pipe and a little tobacco in a box. I ran about like a madman. When it was night, I was very frightened. I found a bushy tree for hiding myself from wild animals. I spent my first night in the island awake. When I saw daylight next morning, I walked around the island to find some fresh water to drink.
Robinson Crusoe isn’t happy with his life. He doesn’t want to be a farmer or trader. Despite his father’s warning and advice, he believes he’ll be happy at sea. He wants to be a sailor. He doesn’t know what his future holds for him. He doesn’t know that he will get on an uninhabited island after a shipwreck and will learn how to survive on his own.
