Stop reading the news book review

I had an addiction to reviewing the news all the time. Every second i was wondering what's happening in Turkey and the World in general. After reading this book i became more aware of the distraction of the news and its manipulation. It's actually preventing us to think clearly since it's biased and misinforms us. It also takes a lot of our valuable time. The author basically give the reasons why we should give up reading news. I found these reasons rational. Furthermore, he suggest what to do instead of reading the news.

Over the course of my life I've read countless books on time management and tried out dozens of their well- meaning suggestions. Yet I have come to the conclusion that, for all the strategies and techniques they suggest, there is no easier and more productive method of reclaiming time than giving up the news.
