This booklet inspired by a reminiscence, tells the reader the tale of Turkish Coffee and Turkish Delight. It explains the historical development of the cultivation of the coffee bean, and how as a traded commodity, it changed social life and the balance of the world economy. Changes in roasting, grinding, preparation, and drinkink hobits are described. Emphasis is placed on social changes as a resuult of the opening of coffee houses, and finally, questions concerning the effects of coffee of coffee on our health are answered in detail.
