Acının içerisinden çetin sekilde geçen bir insan acıyı nasıl böylesine duygusuzca aktarabilir? Evet kitabin en temel özeti bu. Duygudan yoksun ve kendini yineleyen cümleler. Anlatımdaki duygu yoksulluğu yinelenen cümleler ile verilmek istense de mantık dışı fikirler buna yeterli gelmemiş. İnsan olmak için acı çekmek gerekir minvalinde duygu yüklemesi yapma çalışması gerçeklikten bir haber değilde nedir? Acıları yarıştırmak mide bulandırıcı degil de nedir? Empoze etmeye çalıştığı fikirler konunun kendisinden uzak kalmış. Sen acı çekerek olgunlaştın diye ben neden acı çekmeliyim? Belki seni kendine getiren acı beni tüketecek bunu kim bilebilir? Allah "dağına göre kar verir" iken bu dayatma nedir? Müslüman! Müslümanlar! Gaz odası reva görülüp, aşagılanan ama en yüksek tiraj sebebi olan Müslümanlar. All The Broken Places is a gripping , full of twists , and profoundly written sequel to the beloved novel "The Boy in Striped Pyjamas" , by the author John Boyne. With an intelligent way of narrative, which shifts between the past and the future , the author does not only explore the psychological complexities of guilt, and complicity, but he also gives us a clear understanding of the circumstances after the War and its effects on both victims and haunters. In this sequel, "the Hopeless case" , whom we know as Gretel, finds herself constantly running from her doomed past , while her past does not intend to loose its grip , even though after she entered her early nineties. Craving for redemption , she had no idea that her newly settled neighbors would be the turning point of her life , concluding whether she runs away as always or counters her past at all cost. I became completely immersed by this beautifully written and thought provoking novel with its surprising conclusion. It is highly recommended to both JB fans and those enjoyed "The Boy in Striped Pyjamas". Many thanks to the author and the publishers.

Bu mövzuda "Life is beautiful", "The boy in striped pyjamas" və bunlar kimi bir neçə filmə baxmışdım. Lakin filmlər kitablar qədər təsirli olmur və vaxt azlığına görə hər şeyi tam əks etdirmir. Əsərdə diqqətimi əsas çəkən şeylərdən biri kitabların qadağan olunması idi. Bir cəmiyyəti kitabsız heç cür təsəvvür etmək mümkün deyil.

You will feel it in your bones as you read. The end of the book shook me so much, I never expected such an ending. My heart hurt a lot, I once again hated those who can't love people as human beings regardless of their race, religion, language or belief.
