7# SPONTANEITY
Free of fear, intelligence is no longer a slave to an identity that needs to be consistent with itself.
7# SPONTANEITY
We do not trust our nature. Our nature is imprisoned by a controlling mind. Why not base your life in spontaneity, in freedom of expression, in the excitement of not knowing how you might respond next... Trusting it, not being afraid of it. It would be smarter to trust nature instead of fearing it and being suspicious of it.

6# TRUTH
We tend to identify with our roles, but these roles are not absolute. (...) Identification makes everything disproportionately personal. We are identified with our bodies, our feelings, our thoughts, and our consciousness to the point where we feel this is I, this is what and who I am. And because of our identification, we can become really emotional if what we’ve identified with turns out to be of relative nature. We find it difficult to change, and we are afraid to die because we are deeply identified.
5# ALIVE SILENCE
Thinking has become a cult, it is out of proportion. Thinking has become an addiction.
4# CONSCIOUSNESS
We are intelligence, but we are not aware of that. Our nature has become a slave of who we think we are: it is forced to function within the limits of a personality. Holding on to a personal identity requires a consistency that is by definition incompatible with true, free-flowing intelligence; it cancels out intelligence. If I need to behave in such and such a way because I believe I am so and so, my options are very limited. I can no longer respond freely. Identity puts a straightjacket on intelligence. (...) Intelligence is the true principle, not identity or personality. You have learned to communicate with people, and you’ve learned to do it in a certain way: that’s your personality. It is not what and who you are.

5# ALIVE SILENCE
To try to silence your mind is a reactive approach. The proactive approach is to not think your next thoughts. The result is that you’ve stopped thinking, not because you stopped your thinking, but because you didn’t continue it. (...) Don’t bother about thoughts you’re already thinking, just be alert to not think your next thought. This is the whole secret of meditation.
6# TRUTH
Enlightenment is not an attainment to be proud of. (...) It’s more like you’ve given away that which was never yours!

4# CONSCIOUSNESS
What we call an expansion of consciousness is really an expansion of experience. Consciousness remains unchanged.
5# ALIVE SILENCE
In silence you become aware of you conscious nature. Your thoughts have gone, but the sky remains. As clouds disappear, suddenly the immovable blue sky becomes obvious. As thoughts disappear, suddenly your immovable consciousness becomes obvious. The blue sky was always there, but you were just seeing the clouds. Consciousness was always there, but you were just seeing thoughts.
5# ALIVE SILENCE
We experience projections of our minds, not reality. We are so engrossed in thinking that direct experience has become an exception. (...) While we are having an experience, whatever it happens to be, we are either commenting on the experience or thinking about something else. We are not directly experience life, we are looking at life through a mist of thoughts.
Knowledge is information, and you can get it from everywhere. Understanding is individual and qualitatively different. Knowledge you forget easily, but understanding never leaves you. Knowledge, conceptual understanding, is a beginning, it is not a complete understanding. You haven't integrated your understanding, you're looking on from a distance, you are not involved with your whole being. True understanding is not merely conceptual, it is your life, you breathe it.
Clarity is the first principle of freedom because all questions ask for clarity. Getting clear, not getting answers, that's the first principle.
