At the end of the day, BTS has seven members. I believed the team couldn’t stay together if even one of us left.
However, while BTS were soaring up toward the sky, those very same heroes of the story were in fact plunging to the bottom of the sea, with no end in sight. SUGA summarizes the atmosphere within the team at the time:
______We all wanted to say, “Let’s quit,” but none of us could bring ourselves to do it.
I think the members all had ambition. We’d made one dream come true, but we weren’t satisfied, and wanted to present an even more impressive image of ourselves. All of us were thinking, ‘I want to go even higher.’ Maybe that was why our group had gotten this far already… I think that if even one of us had thought differently, it would have been difficult to do.
