Born in Ordu Gölköy, Lütfü After completing his high school education, Özşahin graduated from 19 Mayıs University, Faculty of Theology. He worked as a teacher and administrator in National Education and various colleges. He completed his Master's Degree in the History of Religions and then his Doctorate in Philosophy at the Institute of Social Sciences at Marmara University (Cairo). He speaks English, Arabic, Hebrew and Georgian. More than 300 articles have been published in various journals and the national press. He took Hebrew lessons from Chief Rabbi Ishak Haleva and Leon Adoni. He participated in intercultural dialogue meetings as an expert guest at the Universities of Hamburg (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark), Amsterdam, Netherlands and Malmo (Sweden).
