Though it was not perfect, I'd say this was a pretty good volume overall. The war is upon us and it is as brutal as it can be. Seeing all the "heroes" together was great. I really like Nolan his character arc, Allen is great, I started to like Oliver as well, Thadeus is cool and so on. The war lasts ten Earth months but a few months at max considering space time stuff. The end was oookay but I'm still thinking how it could have been different. The war is over but Mark and others did not win, not yet. This is probably like a turning point for the series and for all characters. We'll see what happens next.

After a brilliant volume, this one was considerably weaker in many ways. The first two chapters are dedicated entirely to Allen and Nolan's adventures and those were great. Then, the sequid guy Rus finally shows up and those parts were meeh. I don't really enjoy that plotline at all. Mark's inner conflict is really interesting, how he's all powerful but still tries to hold back. When he does, the people he loves get hurt. I also would like to mention the extremes Cecil goes to protect Earth. He is a good example of an anti-hero and though he's a massive jerk, he is a jerk that wants to protect humans, whatever the cost. This volume serves as a preparation before the major war that's coming.

Wow wow wow! The last two volumes were really setting everything up for this. Angstrom Levy starts moving and sends a bunch of Invincibles to destroy Earth and as if those parts were not brutal or tragic enough, another strong possibly the strongest Viltrumite we have ever seen appears. Invincible's fight with him was great, literally made me gasp. Non-stop action from start to finish, this was a great volume. I also like that Eve is not totally useless and can hold out on her own. Definitely one of the best volumes so far!

A bit better than the previous volume. The parts with Allen and Omni-Man were amazing in my opinion. Apparently this was a crossover with Wolf-Man. Those parts were average I don't really care about the wolf dude but he is chill. Eve and Mark's relationship grows and I already mentioned before that Eve is a much better fit for Mark than Amber. In the background, for like many chapters, Angstrom Levy(?) is cooking something. Average/good volume overall, could have been better.

This was good but it felt like an introduction to big things. I like the dynamic and conflict between Cecil (and the Guardians) and Mark (and the teen heroes) but it still felt a bit rushed, to be honest. The most interesting parts were about Oliver I think. Aaand after all that's happened Mark still acts like a teenager. Well, he is one but it still gets a bit annoying (I guess that's the point). I feel like important things will happen in the following chapters. Good but not a great volume overall.
