day 1: on living the hard way
life’s easy when you live it the hard way... and hard if you try to live it the easy way. self-discipline means resisting instant gratification for greater future rewards. avoiding discomfort may seem easier, but it hinders personal growth. weak-willed individuals who prioritize comfort struggle to achieve substantial success or handle crises. on the other hand, those who embrace challenges willingly become stronger and better prepared for unexpected obstacles. self-imposed difficulties build resilience and help individuals develop the ability to handle hardships with ease.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, and  you won’t build self-discipline overnight.
Day 3: On Being a Human
strive to be a better human and embrace your humanity by exercising your “willpower muscle,” instead of succumbing to your most primal (and least helpful for your long-term goals) part of the brain.
