“ Feminist: a person who believes in the social, political and ecomomic equality of the sexes.” I have wached the speech of this book almost 5-6 years ago and since then i have been trying to find it anywhere in Turkey. The speech is available both on youtube and Tedtalks. In case you cannot get the book, I strongly recommend you to watch it. The author mentions about women. How we struggle in this life because of our gender. We do not talk about being phsically same when mentioning equality. Biologically we are different, but when it comes to humanity, we are same. We women work hard and we want to be behaved and paid respectfully like men. Are women born with a cooking- cleaning gene? Why do we have to do these instead of men all the time? Parents should teach how to cook and clean both their sons and daughters, not only daughters. We teach girls to aspire to marriage, even very young ages girls dream about wedding. This doesn’t make sense. We should tell all the girls that We do not necessarily need to get married to have a happy life.If I had a magic wand, i would make everybody read this book.
