Nowadays as a result of development in communication technologies (mostly social media) people have tendency to lose control in their crucial tasks and they are desperate to take the control back. Our writer 
Cal Newport is aware of this situation and proposing 4 "Deep Work" strategy with examples. For him Deep Work is the most precious skill in our century and he explains Deep work as:
"Professional activities performed in a state of distraction-free concentration that push your cognitive capabilities to their limit. These efforts create new value, improve your skill, and are hard to replicate".
In order to achieve "Deep Work" benefits we should have ability to stay focus on a cognitively challenging task without being distracted. But because of the "Willpower" it is not easy to do. We should use our willpower energy in demanding and crucial task with Deep Work and after that we can take time for "Shallow Work" which he explains later on.
