Çocuklar için eğitim tavsiyesi #2
One example of a company that's working on digitally enabled innovation is Zearn. Its new math curriculum for grade school students helps them shore up concepts that are key to more advanced math, like fractions and the order of operations.

Digital tools can facilitate more personalized learning in the classroom too. One example I'm familiar with is the Summit Learning Platform. Students work together with teachers to pick a goal and create a digital learning plan.

GERM Projesi'nin on yıllık maliyet beklentisi
One of GERM's jobs will be to help identify the most promising new tools. I estimate that, over the next decade, all governments combined need to spend $15 billion to $20 billion per year to develop the necessary vaccines, infection-blocking drugs, treatments, and diagnostics.

On a list of jobs that are both super-important and super-obscure, I'd probably put "disease modeler" near the top

The fastest one I'm aware of is called Nexar, developed by Douglas Scientific more than a decade ago, but not for anything related to diagnosing diseases in humans - it was originally intended to identify genetic changes in plants that would make them more beneficial as crops.

The one I'm most enthusiastic about comes from the British company LumiraDx, which is developing machines that test for multiple diseases and are so easy to operate tjay they don't have to be limited to laboratories - they can be used in pharmacies, schools and other settings.
GERM'ün maliyeti
I put the cost of running the GERM team in the neighborhood of $1 billion a year to cover salaries for 3,000 people plus equipment, travel, and other expenses.
GERM hasta bakmayacak
You might have noticed one obvious activity thats missing from GERM's job description: treating patients. That's by design. GERM wouldn't need to replace the rapid response clinical experts like those at Medecins Sans Frontieres. Its job would be to coordinate their efforts and complement their work by doing disease surveillance, computer modeling, and other functions. No one from GERM would be responsible for caring for patients.
Bill'in önerdiği proje: GERM
What we need is a well-funded global organization with enough full time experts in all the necessary areas, the credibility and authority that come with being a public institution, and a clear remit to focus on preventing pandemics. I call it the GERM - Global Epidemic Response and Mobilization-team, and the job of its people should be to wake up every day asking themselves the same questions: "Is the world ready for the next outbreak? What can we do to be better prepared" They should be fully paid, regularly drilled, and prepared to mount a coordinated response to the next threat of pandemic. The GERM team should have the ability to declare a pandemic and work with national governments and the World Bank to raise money for the response very quickly. My back-of-the-napkin estimate is that GERM would need about 3,000 full-time employees. Their skills should run the gamut: epidemiology, genetics, drug and vaccine development, data systems, diplomacy, rapid response, logistics, computer modeling, and communications. GERM should be managed by the World Health Organization, the only group that can give it global credibility, and it should have a diverse workforce, with a decentralized staff working in many places around the world. To get the best staff possible, GERM should have a special personel system different from what most UN agancies have. Most of the team would be based at individual countries' national public health institutes, though some would sit in the WHO's regional offices and its headquarters in Geneva.
