This book consist of four chapters which are related to each other. I suppose that Bertrand Russell wrote this four title as a lecture, but he was banned from giving. That is because, I think, its contents are not proper for some statesman. Whereas, these essays even valid for status quo. Even though the book was written nearly hundred years ago, somethings still continue which is not beneficial for individuals. If you read this book, you can readily notice that some situations are analogue for today's world, even in our country. In addition to introduction, author makes a difference between two terms which play a key role in our lives. One of them is creative or constructive impulse, and author puts emphasis great importance on it. Another is possessive impulse which is, as far as I understand, harmful for individuality. Besides this brief summary, I want to say that in terms of grammar reading of this book is arduous.
