4/5 Stars. (%80/100)
One of the essential books of Middle-Earth that you should read from time to time. I admit that it is a bit more boring than The Silmarillion for me. However, I've still read it multiple times because of some of the information that does not really exist outside of this book. The book is split into 4 main parts: The First Age, The Second Age, The Third Age, and the last that deals with other minor details. I especially love the first part because it gives more detail about the children of Hurin as well as Gondolin (which is one of my favourite places in all of Arda). Also, the chapter about Galadriel and Celeborn in the second part is also interesting because we don't really get to learn about these characters especially Celeborn. The third part is nothing special in my opinion but the chapters regarding the palantiri and the istari in the fourth chapter are brilliant. In short, you should definitely read it at least once. I recommend you to read this right after reading The Silmarillion because it would make much more sense.

Uzakta, şu sisli dağlarda
Derin mahzen, eski mağara
Sabahlara kadar burada
Altınları bulana kadar
Uğulduyordu, çam ağaçları
İnliyordu, kış rüzgarları
Ateş birden alevlendi
Tutuştu orman, barut gibi..
Yaşadığım son olayın dehşeti halen üzerimde, bunca zamandır zorluklara beraber göğüs gerdiğimiz ve ölümlülerin yaşadığı topraklara çok uzakta bulunan diyarlara birlikte yolculuk ettiğimiz dostları kaybetmenin acısı da cabası.
