Pekala, kitabın kötü olduğunu düşünmüyorum, pek çok insan, özellikle de bu özel karanlık romantizm türünü anlamayanlar, bu kitabı saldırgan ve aptalca buluyor. Haklı oldukları noktalar var ama kitap daha çok karakter odaklı ve iyi bir olay örgüsüne sahip, bu yüzden birçok sahneye yoğun bir vurgu yapılıyor. Bunu savunup bir başyapıt olduğunu söylemiyorum ama herkesin söylediği kadar kötü olduğunu da düşünmüyorum. Sinirli karakterleri ve hızlı temposu ile eğlenceli bir kitap.

This was a interesting read. I only ever read in on my commute to school and home which resulted in a longer reading period. However this book had me hooked on those times. I was immersed in Holden's journey and it bored me at some points cause he often drifted off topic and those parts I found quite boring but it also aligned with his current mental state. I would recommend this but I feel like people would get bored if they're not really patient.
