THINK STRAIT
- [ ] I hardly look back on life. I never daydream of the past. I don’t look at old photos all day long. I don’t even think about taking pictures because I’m too involved in the present. The only useful purpose I can think of for looking back is to learn. You can draw many lessons from looking at your past.

I stole the deepest breath my aching chest was capable of and let the humid forest air push into my immortal lungs. Even the earthy forest scent made me think of her.

“But I want to be his favorite,” she whined.
I chuckled. And then I just gazed at her. I’d missed her, even in just the hour since I’d seen her at work.
