This book reminded me all the emotions I felt while watching those filmsThe tension, the suspense, the expectation of something scary will happen... I totally loved this book!
🪦Ella is a high school student. She goes to a end of summer pool party with her best friend. But she is attacked and almost killed by a clown-masked person after the party. She is now a part of an attempted murder investigation. But her attacker isn’t finished. Ella finds a clown mask on her bed, in her locker; she sees shadows on her window at night. Then, she finds the dead body of a missing student in her school. Her ex-friend and sweetheart, Jensen tries to teach her self-defense because they feel that the killer will attack again. With each victim, Ella begins to feel that this killer has a hidden motive related to their past. She doesn’t know whom to trust, even her close friends are suspects in her eyes.
🪦Characters were amazing! The suspense was there all the time. I felt Ella’s fear in her room at night or in the warehouse where she found a dead body. The character’s feelings were successfully written and I felt every single one of them And the final! I couldn’t know the attacker until the end, and the twist at the end was soo surprisingIf you like this kind of thriller books, it is a recommendation!

Tabiki de çok sevdim. Yaz sonu partisi dönüşü palyaço maskeli biri tarafından neredeyse öldürülen Ella’nın hayatı gitgide daha zor olur. Kurtulsa da saldırgan hala peşindedir. Odasına, okuldaki dolabına maske bırakır; onu korkutmaya devam eder. En sonunda okuldan kaybolan kızların cesetleri bulunmaya başlayınca Ella daha da korkar. Eski arkadaşı ve aşkı Jensen ile kimin suçlu olduğunu bulmaya çalışırlar. Ella, saldırganın asıl niyetinin geçmişlerinde yaşadıkları acı olayla bağlantılı olduğunu düşünür.
