The most widely used and best known personality frameworks are the MyersBriggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Big Five Personality Model. Both describe a person’s total personality through exploration of the facets of personality. Other frameworks, such as the Dark Triad, explain certain aspects, but not the total, of an individual’s personality.
