First of all, being written in first person point of view enables us to comprehend the story from wider perspective. While reading it i become integrated with the protagonist. We see closely the internal struggle of the character. The theme of conscience stands out in the story. Although a person acts calmly at the time of the incident, conscience will eventually come out and consume us.
