Definitely weaker than the first volume. It was good in general but the pacing had serious problems. The fight with the Bat comes to an end and we immediately start a new arc (not exactly an arc but a new situation, new characters etc). Himeno is an interesting character but since I watched the anime, I know her well, too well...I'm hoping it will get better because in the anime you don't really notice these things, at least when you watch it weekly. In short, good volume but it could be better.
