. Well, maybe I should not put it like that, using the word ''analyze'', because that is not exactly what I mean to do; but you should know that I am going to tell what I think about this book. You may have noticed that I am writing in English. I have two reasons for that: 1- I have read this book in English. 2- I wanted to do something different. (By the way if you notice any mistake in my writing, please let me know so that I can fix them.)

is a book that I saw in a booktuber's video. That video was about book reccomendations and the title of this book got me, to be honest, though I don't know why. If that video included an analyze of it, I really would not read this book. - But why? - Let me tell you. It is a novel, as you can read in the cover of the book, and it is written as a diary of a young girl who just moved to New York from London. Her name is Isa and she has a troublemaker friend named Gala. Isa tells her stories day by day using first person omniscient, which make sense because it is a diary. Yet what I did not like was her stories. YES! Her stories. This book only contains her stories and I did not like them. Actually, this has something to do with the characters. Isa, is a young girl in her early twenties. She has no parents. Well, she actually had a single mother but she died, which is very unfortunate for her. She had to grow up by herself but she was not lonely. There was her best friend Gala who is like a sister to her.

characterizes them as ''really pretty girls''. They are so pretty that they can be at the cover of a magazine about celebrities. What we know else about them is that they are very intellectual. At least Isa mentions it, but I think they are not. Like, I think Gala is super stupid and Isa is like her mom who have to fix her mistakes and that makes two stupids. On the other hand, Isa claims that they read books but the book is only about the parties they go to and the new people they meet. Also their lovers and how they maintain their relationships. So, I suppose you get what I hate about this book. It is its shallowness. It could be about my interests as well. It cannot be said that I am into such things as parties, love relationships or anything about desire for the physical. In short, the most frustrating issue about this book is, I guess, the characters. The second is probably its linear plot. It is boring. Literally nothing ecxiting happens at all those days that Isa has spent and the most frustrating thing about it, again, at the end of the book she's implying something like she had some incredible adventures. That really made me laugh. Well, that was pretty much all that I wanted to say. I do not recommend this book. I gave 5 stars because I could have some good quotations, that was the most positive side of this book for me. I hope I could manage to tell what I meant to. If you have read until here, thank you so much..

exactly. I think writing an essay in English is better than reading at least 3 books in English.
