People really don’t like change, particularly fast-moving change. Individuals, companies, groups, and societies tend to treat change with concern and will just ignore it or even work to prevent it. This limits efficient and widespread adoption of these new frontier technologies. Unfortunately, this leaves the real power in the hands of those creating the technology and the small number who adapt and adopt early.
