When Agni said he's just a kid because all those years with his body constantly being on fire, it was just his body that's grown up. His mind was stuck in its development because of the pain of the circumstance. And I've just realized that is the perfect metaphor for trauma. People with severe childhood traumas get stuck in the past mentally because their inner child is hurt and the trauma is carried on inside.
Don't have anything else to say, it just keeps getting better and better in the most unexpected ways. The entire kingdom being a lie to deceive people and being specifically named after an old shitty film... now that's some matrix kind of stuff right there.
