This was a little better than the previous volume. Casca and Guts' scenes were great, it was really nice to see their relationship evolve into something beautiful. Then, Griffith rescue mission commences and if I remember correctly, manga is much more detailed compared to the anime. I remember the rescue mission being very short. Here, the planning and escaping parts are much more detailed with lots of new characters. The complex relationship between characters are more interesting to me than the action scenes even though those are also great.
