I never thought that one day I would read and finish this book, but here I am — I read it, I finished it, and just as I expected, it turned out exactly that way. The Love Hypothesis is a book full of clichés but with the “I’m going to break the clichés” kind of attitude.
I’m not even sure where to start. I don’t know if I actually liked the book, but I enjoyed reading it. It flowed really well, so I can’t complain about that part. However, Olive constantly talking about how big Adam was started to annoy me. I wanted to tell her, “Yes, we get it, he’s a big guy. You don’t have to remind us every ten seconds!”
After that, their dialogues… I don’t know, they felt really ridiculous to me. It was less of a romantic comedy and more of a romantic nonsense kind of story. But it was the type of book that didn’t require much thought, was easy to read, and flowed nicely. I already know that once I finished it, I wouldn’t think about it again.
The movie adaptation is coming. I’m not sure if I’ll watch it, but maybe I will just to clear my mind and have something easy to watch.
Bir gün bu kitabı okuyup ve bitireceğimi hiç düşünmezdim ama işte buradayım, okudum ve bitirdim ve tahmin ettiğim gibi oldu. Klişelerle dolu ama ben klişeleri yıkmaya karar verdim havası ile love hypothesis kitabı. Nereden başlasam emin değilim. Kitabı beğendim mi, ondan bile emin değilim ama okurken keyif aldım, yani akıp gitti okurken. O kısımda bir sorun yoktu ama olive'in sürekli adam ne kadar büyük demesi sinir bozucuydu. Kendisine gidip evet anladık, o büyük biri. Bunu her on saniyede bize hatırlatmana gerek yok! Sonrasında aralarındaki diyaloglar, bilmiyorum çok saçma geldi. Romantik komediden çok, romantik saçmalıklar üzerine bir kurguydu ama kafayı yormayan, akan ve bittiğinde bir daha düşünmeyeceğimi bildiğim bir kurguydu. Filmi geliyor. Izler miyim bilmiyorum, belki izlerim kafa dağıtmak için.
