Though she knew me so well, I didn’t know her at all. The only thing I understood was that she desperately wanted to be loved. That was it.

Sexing the Cherry Postmodernism has become an important part of our life and culture in many ways. Although it is a very common word in today's world, it cannot be expressed as a complete definition. Postmodernism is known for its rebellious approach and willingness to test boundaries. It is an indisputable fact that the word ‘master narrative’

Maybe I'm foolish, maybe I'm blind Thinking I can see through this and see what's behind Got no way to prove it so maybe I'm lying But I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all Don't put your blame on me, don't put your blame on me.

1/5 Star (%9/100) The introduction and first few chapters were okay in my opinion. However, as I progressed more, I got angry and bored more in parallel. I forced myself to finish the book and I got really close to abandoning it. Let me start with the good because there is not a lot of it. Wolynn suggests that most of the traumas we suffer might be inherited and gives some examples to support it. That's it, that is the only good thing I got out of the book. First of all, as far as I've seen, Wolynn's main field of study is education, not psychology or counseling or anything similar. This makes me wonder if the stories or people he talks about are even real (according to him they are). There are almost no sources to support his claims other than some quotations from Jung or Freud. So, credibility becomes a serious problem in my opinion. Moreover, I found the "how to fix your relationships" parts absurd. In simple words, he suggests that if you have a bad relationship with your parents or other people, or if you are abused, it is your job to fix the "problem." Also, some other "fixes" are very funny as well. Let's say you are physically abused by someone. Here's a solution (from Wolynn, not me): Light a candle, write a letter etc. and forgive them. Uhm excuse me? There are many absurdities like this and I honestly struggled to read the entire book. I don't know how or why this book is translated into 25 languages and even got an award. Save yourself the trouble and don't read it.

-Denise started toward the bathroom, but Ian's voice stopped her. "I'm not cutting into you until you're under my sway, so you won't feel it. Think I'm a sadist?" -"Yes," she said, the word 'duh' implied in her tone. -He laughed. "You have me there, poppet, but I have certain standards when it comes to women. I don't hurt them unless they enjoy it, and you won't enjoy this."

Blindness is a great novel by Portuguese writer José Saramago that deals with human's individual and collective reactions when in the face of adversarial forces. I finished this work of masterpiece and I let it to sink in a little bit before reviewing it. The power of this book was quite overwhelming and astounding at times and I had to stop

Yeap, that's me.
Plus, I was never going to enter into a relationship; zero sexual experience ensured that. If I were in a league, it would be called “scrawny chicks with homicidal voices and general unwellness.”
