We used this as our primary textbook in one of my master's classes. At first, I found it very very difficult to understand because you need to have a lot of background information about several things, especially feminist theory. However, as time passed, it became more manageable (I'm not saying I particularly enjoyed it but it was at least somewhat understandable). So, even though there are lots of nice essays, most of them are difficult to understand. Some have lots of unnecessary details and some are too short in my opinion. At the very least, I've learned a few things and I'll remember those only.
