Theodor Seuss Geisel (d. 2 Mart 1904 – ö. 24 Eylül 1991), daha çok Dr. Seuss, Theo LeSieg ve bir sefere mahsus Rosetta Stone mahlaslarıyla yazdığı çocuk kitaplarıyla tanınan Amerikalı yazar, şair ve karikatürcü. Geisel, genellikle yaratıcı karakterleri ve kafiyeli yazım biçimi ile anapestik metreyi sıkça kullandığı 46 çocuk kitabı yayınlanmıştır. En ünlü kitapları arasında Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Horton Hatches the Egg, Horton Hears a Who! ve How the Grinch Stole Christmas! bulunmaktadır. Eserlerinin 11 televizyon programı, dört uzun metrajlı film, Broadway müzikali ve dört televizyon dizisi dahil olmak üzere çok sayıda uyarlaması yapıldı.
