Gillian McAllister (28 Şubat 1985 doğumlu), tamamı çok satan yedi romanıyla tanınan, İngiliz Sunday Times ve New York Times çok satan yazarıdır. Eserleri 40 dile çevrildi. Reese Witherspoon kitap kulübü ve Richard and Judy kitap kulübüne seçildi.
Radyo 2 kitap kulübü ve ulusal kitap ödülü için kısa listeye alındı. Romanlarından birçoğu televizyon ve film için tercih edildi. Yedinci romanı "Wrong Place Wrong Time" Sunday Times'ın en çok satanlar listesinde 4 numaraya, New York Times'ın en çok satanlar listesinde ise 2 numaraya yükseldi.
McAllister, Sutton Coldfield'da doğdu ve Tamworth'ta büyüdü. Tamworth'taki Belgrave Lisesi'ni (şu anda Tamworth Enterprise College olarak biliniyor) A-Levels ile bitirdikten sonra McAllister, Birmingham Üniversitesi'nde İngilizce okudu. Daha sonra hukuka geçti, GDL'yi okudu ve bir takdir aldı.
McAllister, Birmingham merkezli iki hukuk bürosunda avukat olarak çalışmaya başlamadan önce Hukuk Fakültesi'nden Hukuk Uygulama Kursu'nda (LPC) üstün başarı elde etti.
