A socially inept alien in 1998 unwittingly triggers a galactic calamity by kidnapping his human crush, Emma, and taking her to Titanic in the hope of having a romantic adventure. Both stranded in 1912, Emma is now left with no choice but teaming up with her kidnapper to set things right for her planet and get back home, while facing the consequences of time travel, an ethical dilemma on a galactic scale, and the first contact between different species.
