Rumi, as he is most commonly known in the West, or Mawlana in the East, is one of the few people who have exerted a great influence över both space and time; in fact his work is more illuminating now as he becomes better known by modern society.People have increasingly been amazed that his presence seems so alive eight centuries after his death.
