5/5 Stars (%90/100) An another great series I found by chance. This one is more underrated compared to the ones I've reviewed so far. It is also an ongoing series and for now, it has only 91 chapters. However, with 91 chapters, Season 1 has ended. So, the series will come back in a few months (that's what the creators say at least). I quite enjoyed the 1st season overall. The characters are interesting, especially the main character, the world itself is amazing and it focuses a lot on magic, the story is interesting enough to make you read, the art style and fight scenes are brilliant as well. The only problem I have is related to pacing. Sometimes our main character suddenly gets strong in a very short amount of time with no proper explanation and sometimes it takes too long. However, towards the end, all of the small problems are being resolved. I'm sure Season 2 will be even better. I highly recommend it. So, what is it about? The title is quite self-explanatory. The Great Mage Lucas Trauman (Trowman) is a genius and extremely powerful mage. However, he is defeated by cosmic beings called Demigods. He spends 4000 years in prison but is suddenly reincarnated (or incarnation/possession) into the body of a boy named Frey Blake. Frey is extremely weak and constantly bullied by other people. Lucas tries to learn more about this new world and also regain his powers so that he can get revenge and defeat the Demigods. That is pretty much it. As I said, the characters are really well-written and I've always liked great mages and magic themed worlds.

But do thy worst to steal thyself away, For term of life thou art assured mine; And life no longer than thy love will stay, For it depends upon that love of thine. Then need I not to fear the worst of wrongs, When in the least of them my life hath end; I see a better state to me belongs Than that which on thy humour doth depend. Thou canst not vex

4/5 Stars (%78/100) Overall, it was pretty good and super fun to listen to. It is less than an hour long and I did not get bored not even once (despite the aim of the stories being for children). There are 4 stories in the collection and each of them is unique in its own way. I've always loved Gaiman as a storyteller and his voice is perfect for the job. 1-The Wolves in the Walls The story is about a girl named Lucy who is certain that there are wolves living in their walls. No one believes her including her family until the wolves come out of the walls. This was a really good story to listen to and I actually enjoyed it. 2-Cinnamon This is one is my favourite story in the collection. Princess Cinamon is a girl who cannot speak and his family hire a bunch of people (creatures) to teach her how to speak. Everything changes when a tiger appears. I don't know why but I felt really drawn into the world of Cinnamon despite its short length. 3-The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish This is the funniest story in the collection. The title is pretty self-explanatory but there is a boy who trades his father to get two goldfish from his friend. When his mother wants the father back, he has to start a journey and make a lot of trades in order to get his father back. The idea behind the story is what makes it super funny. Loved it. 4-Crazy Hair This is actually a short poem with lots of rhymes but it can be read as a story. The story is about a girl trying to brush the narrator's hair but it is very messy and a lot happens while trying to comb the hair. It was short but fun to listen to.

I was closely involved with this operation. Obote and I had a personal radio link with Amin. Ours was code- named “Sparrow”; Amin’s was “Kisu.” The rebels often came to Entebbe, stayed in Amin’s house, and saw Obote. Their greatest need was for arms and transport. They had no cash, but they did have truckloads of gold and ivory, seized as they

It is said that man represents a confused, difficult-to-cross passage, losing himself on winding paths. In this book, Dostoevsky, in a similar language to us, exposes the dark and complex aspects of the human soul to us, inviting us to think and question it together. If you have accepted the invitation, go to the review... In Franz Kafka's"

It has come to this: I’m sitting under a tree beside a river on a sunny morning. It’s an insignificant event and won’t go down in history. It’s not battles and pacts, where motives are scrutinized, or noteworthy tyrannicides.
Ultimately, these postwar aristocratic fantasies were not at all successful in evading the modern scientific universe that they so despised. It is by no accident that both Jurgen and The Worm Ouroboros (a title that refers to the world-girdling serpent that bites its own tail) were circular in construction, ending just where they began, with nothing changed or accomplished by the passage of four hundred pages. These fantasies aimed to run away from the scientific universe, only to be thrown back into it by a kind of self-applied, self-defeating judo move.
"He might talk to Rogan, since he’s the most dangerous man in Houston.” “Is that the official title?” I asked. “No,” Rogan said. “It’s a statement of fact.”

4/5 Stars (%80/100) I had no idea this existed so when I finished it, I was very satisfied. From the title, you can understand that Gaiman alludes to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's A Study in Scarlet (Sherlock Holmes) but when you start to read (listen to, in this case) more, you realize that it has many similarities to H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. With these in mind, there is really no way you can dislike this. I listened to this and it was about 40 minutes long, read by Neil Gaiman himself. I always liked listening to Gaiman's voice and this was also great. The twist at the end of the story was amazing as well. Definitely recommended!
