E. L. Emkey is a mama, wife, and gypsy soul. Her love of reading started when she was only three years old. As she got older, she started sneaking her mom's Harlequin romance novels about Scottish Highlanders and sexy cowboys. Her joy of being a writer is creating characters her readers can relate to and worlds they can disappear in, even for a short while. She loves raising her children and feeding her chickens; her family is her life.
