Paul Elam worked for thirty years in the chemical dependency treatment field, where he observed a great deal of discrimination against men and boys. It was that experience that inspired him to pursue a path of advocacy for men's issues.
Paul founded avoiceformen.com, largely regarded as the online flagship of the men's human rights movement. He has co-authored several books on men's issues and has just published the first edition of his collected works, "Men. Women. Relationships. Surviving the Plague of Modern Masculinity"
He originally hails from Houston, Texas and now lives in southwest Virginia with his partner, Stacey.
