About
I am an Assistant Instructional Professor in the Department of History at the University of Chicago, where I teach historical research and writing methods and a little about gender and women’s history. My first book, Without Children: The Long History of Not Being a Mother, will be published by Seal Press on April 18, 2023. When I’m not answering email, I can usually be found trail running, baking gluten free cake, and looking at clothes on the internet. I live outside of Chicago with my husband Bob and our two pugs, Ellie and Jake.
